Card Kit #1 from Heather

I am here to show you some cards made from another card kit group.  This group on SCS was organized by Heather and I was the recipient in April of 11 card kits! I have them all waiting for me in a box by my stamp table, waiting patiently for their turn to be created.  I was able to make 4 cards last Saturday at Camp Stamp-in-Oga and will be posting them in the next 4 days.  There is no a theme for these kits--each lady sent anything they wanted.  Some seemed to tailor their kits to the month of April and others for images they think fit me.  Thanks Ladies

This card from kit #1, from Heather. It was a fun kit with a couple of cute images and some great sentiments.  She also included some pretty patterned paper along with matching embellishments.  I hope I did OK and that Heather likes my creations.  Thanks Bunches for a great kit Heather!!!

Fridays with The Project Bin!

I am so excited to share the news that I am on a new Design Team--The Project Bin Stamps!  The Project Bin is a fantastic company with clear stamps that feature snappy sentiments. I have admired and bought a few of their stamp sets in the past and recently that have also added some coordination steel dies for some of the sets.  That is great news for any paper-crafter--no more fussy cutting.  Denise is the owner and creator for The Project Bin and she comes out with new stamp sets every few weeks--so be sure to keep checking!
If you want to check out more creations from the design team, be sure to check out The Project Bin Blog as often as you can.  Every day there is a different card posted by one of more of the design team members.  I will be posting on Friday's, so you will see one of my creations each week.

For my first card, I used a stamp set call Yello as it has some fun images, great sentiments and a die that cuts the word Yello!

I used one of the sweet (well maybe not with a lemon) sentiments for my card, along with the slice of lemon stamp.  I also added some Wink of Stella on both of the lemon slices, though that shine does not photograph well at all!  And then, added a cute glass of lemonade (or whatever beverage you might pick) brad on the side of the slice.

Here is the Yello stamp set:

For the inside of my card, I added an older Stampin' Up sentiment, as I think this is a perfect card for a great friend!

And Now, Announcing The Project Bin Blog Hop, July 15th and 16th!  Be sure come back and join us for some great inspiration, giveaways and other surprises. The theme will be Christmas in July and everyone can get a head start on those holiday cards with some wonderful Christmas sentiments!

I hope you have enjoyed my first of many cards for The Project Bin.  I am planning to be on this awesome Design Team for a year so that is over 50 creations coming your way.  Check back on every week, any day for inspiration for the team but especially on Friday's to check out my cards.  I will end as I started, I am soooooo excited to be chosen to be on this wonderful design team!

This is my card for June's Monthly Challenge for the Creative Card Chicks.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month.  We just started a new round and Debby is the hostess this month.  She sent us this hilarious Art Impressions image and some fun sentiments. Debbyy also included some great patterned paper, ribbons and embellishments for us to create a sweet card.

Ready, Set, Go, Challenge #2

It is the third Wednesday of the month and that means a Ready, Set, Go Challenge Card!  The 3 Musketeers (Jeanette, Kelly and me) are back with another challenge this month--our second month of this!

I picked our challenge for theme #2.  Using the first letter of our group title, make a project using something Starting with the letter R, S and G!  I used Rose Red for R, Satin Ribbon for the S and the stamp set Gift of Love for the G.  Ready? Set? Go!

I inked up a newer Stampin' Up set that I think is so pretty.  I also added some Wink of Stella to the flowers to give them some shine.  I love the sentiments that are included in this set, so I added two to my card!

Here is the inside of my card with the sentiment "You have a gift for making others feel loved.   Both of my partners in this challenge identify strongly with this phrase--they make me feel loved every single day!

Please be sure to check out the other Ready, Set, Go cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards! I hope Kelly and Jeanette like my card and that you might too!  Jeanette is up for the next theme, so be sure to check back to see what we are up to on the 3rd Wednesday in July.

Poppy Trio

This card is for the monthly swap that Pam hosts on SCS.  Each month we make 10 cards and include a matching envelope.  They can be any theme for any month.  All of the swappers are wonderful and I have received awesome cards each and every month.

I used a new stamp set that I recently bought at the Milwaukee stamp show from Rubbernecker.  I love their flower stamps--though I might be a bit biased as I have demoed for them at some previous shows!  They also have started to make some matching dies for many of their stamps--YAY!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Pam and the others swappers like my card this month!

Maturity Is........

This is the card I made for our bi-monthly swap at my local stamp and scrapbook store called Polka Dots, in Mukwonago.  The theme this month is monochromatic, so I went with one of my favorite sentiments.  I think this makes a good masculine card!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope everyone likes my card!

June is Rose Month

It is the 15th of the month and that means I am showing you a new Dueling Darlings card.  For the June Challenge, Tracie and I decided on the theme--Roses as June is Rose Month!   Tracie is the one of the Darlings and I am a part of the Diva team!

sent each of the Divas two rose images.  I did not include a sentiment as I mentioned they can stamp one for the occasion the card is sent or it can be left blank--like mine.  I also included some Stampin' Up patterned papers and many embellishments! I decided to use the Hero Arts Delicate Rose Stems stamp as it has been in my stash for a long time, but I do not remember the last time I inked it up!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope all of the Darlings enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month.

There are a few members who do not have blogs:  Suzy and Terry S who both are on the Diva team, and Terry A, Paola and Debby who are Dazzlers.  You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name.  All of the others should be found on my left sidebar.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!

Dapper Dan Snowman

This is card #3 is for the new group that Jeanette started on SCS.  Jeanette is the Queen of Christmas and has way more trees and Christmas decorations in her house that I do---and that is quite an accomplishment!  This group is called Christmas CraZy.  This is a bi-monthly "swap" in which we are paired with someone in the group for those two months.  We are to send a kit to our partner--two identical images and two pieces of patterned paper. We can also send a matching sentiment.  That is it--no embellishments like ribbon, brads, buttons, etc., or additional cardstock--just images and two pieces of Christmas patterned paper.  We are to send the kit to our partner during the odd numbered month--like May.  We then make and post our card on the even month--June is even!  Then, next round, we are paired with another person and get to do it all again.

This is the sweet image I received from Michelle.  She sent me this kit with the Snowman image, a matching sentiment and the fun patterned paper.  I hope that Michelle and the others like my card!

Cam and Chloe

This is the card for the 32nd round of the Unidentified Image swap on SCS.  It is a group of ladies who are a part of a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same image, sent to us by the hostess.  The unidentified part is that we are to not discuss the image at all until the day they are to be posted--that is today!   The image for this round was provided by Darlene.   She will swap the cards and include the next image that Linda, our next hostess in their return envie.  And then we get to do it all again--for round #33--in August!

I used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Clear Glitter Pen on the wings and the center of the flowers, to make them glimmer a bit.

Here is the inside of my card:

If you check some of the other blogs listed on my sidebars, you may find some other swappers who have posted their creations today or in the next few days.  I hope Darlene and everyone in the swap liked my image and that you and like my card!
